The Alfa Romeo Giulia is a sports saloon which was produced by Alfa Romeo from 1962 to 1978. Alfa Romeo was one of the first manufacturers to put a powerful engine in a light-weight car for mainstream production. The car was equipped with a light alloy twin overhead camshaft four-cylinder engine, similar to that of the earlier Giulietta models range. Giulias were noted for their lively performance among sedans of that era, especially considering the modest engine size. Its 1.3 liter engine is a naturally aspirated, double overhead camshaft, 4 cylinder unit that produces 82 bhp (83 PS/61 kW) of power at 6000 rpm, and maximum torque of 104 N·m (77 lb·ft/10.6 kgm) at 4900 rpm. Power is transmitted to the wheels through a 5 speed manual gearbox. The styling was quite straight forward, but with a great amount of detail. The engine bay, cabin and boot were all square shaped. But the grill, the roof-lines and details on the bonnet and boot made for an integrated design from bumper to bumper.
